Women’s Golf to be Honored Saturday at Duke Football

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's golf program will be honored Saturday during the Duke football contest against N.C. A&T. Opening kickoff is slated for 6 p.m., at Wallace Wade Stadium.

The Blue Devils will be recognized as a team during a third quarter timeout for winning their seventh NCAA Championship last May in Fayetteville, Ark. After finishing third in stroke play and earning the No. 3 seed in match play, Duke went on to knock off Stanford, Arizona and Wake Forest to post its first NCAA title since the championship moved to match play in 2015.

Head coach Dan Brooks, who is entering his 36th season with the Blue Devils, now owns seven NCAA Championships, which is the most by any women's golf head coach.
