PALOS VERDES, Calif. – Boosted by a two-under-par ledger by senior standout Leona Maguire, the Duke women’s golf team carded the tied for third-lowest round Monday at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge to move into a tie for sixth at the 6,017-yard, par 71 Palos Verdes Golf Club. The Blue Devils have 18 holes remaining to continue to move up the leaderboard.
Maguire, a native of Cavan, Ireland, featured a great start to the day with birdies on No. 12, No. 13 and No. 16 on her way to making the turn at three-under-par.
