AUGUSTA, Ga. – Duke graduate student Porter Wilson was recently named one of 10 semifinalists for the 2023 Ray Guy Award, the organization announced in partnership with the Augusta Sports Council.
Wilson was also tabbed a semifinalist during the 2020 season.
The Akron, Ohio, native has booted 38 punts for 1,808 yards, averaging 47.58 yards per punt in nine games this season. Additionally, he has impressively pinned 16 punts inside the 20-yard line and boasts 16 punts of 50-plus yards. Only 14 of his 38 punts have been returned this season for a total of 34 yards to average 2.
