Top recruits Jalen Suggs (2020/Gonzaga) and Chet Holmgren (2021/undecided) both play for AAU program Grassroots Sizzle in Minnesota and given the Covid situation, their coach, Brian Sandifer, is recommending they go pro instead of heading to school. He makes this a general recommendation for elite recruits since know one knows what will happen.
Fair enough.
However, there are some flaws to his logic.
First, there’s no guarantee the G-League will be able to play either, as Sandifer acknowledges himself, saying “Put it this way. People are asking if the G League is going to play. How is the G League going to play if LeBron and them [in the NBA] have to go to Orlando to play.
