DURHAM, N.C. – With the Duke football team departing today for the Walk On’s Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La., sophomore safety Michael Carter II spoke with GoDuke.com about the upcoming post-season experience and how his role in the Duke secondary has increased from last year.
Carter II has appeared in 22 games for the Blue Devils across his first two seasons, working his way into a regular starting role in 2018. Seeing action at both safety and cornerback during the regular season, Carter II recorded 23 total tackles to go along with six pass breakups, one interception and one fumble recovery.
