DURHAM, N.C. – Three different Duke women's basketball student-athletes have been named candidates for awards recently by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and Women's Basketball Coaches Association. To help these Blue Devils win the awards, fans can go online to vote for Haley Gorecki, Leaonna Odom and Jade Williams.
Gorecki, a graduate from Palatine, Ill., is a nominee for the Meyers Drysdale Watch List, which honors the top shooting guard nationally. A 2019 All-ACC First Team selection, Gorecki returns for her final season, after registering one of the best individual seasons in Duke history averaging 17.
