Vernon Carey Jr. Selected CBS Sports’ Top Freshman, Two Named All-American

DURHAM, N.C. – CBS Sports announced its 2020 college basketball All-America Teams with Duke freshman Vernon Carey Jr., earning a spot on the Second Team and being named Freshman of the Year while sophomore Tre Jones earned Third Team status.

Duke and Kansas were the only programs with multiple selections to the CBS Sports All-America Teams, as Carey and Jones joined KU’s Udoka Azubuike (First Team) and Devon Dotson (Second).
