DURHAM – Sophomore earned ACC Player of the Week honors after leading No. 5 Duke to a conference series sweep over No. 15 Virginia Tech last weekend.
Vega was explosive at the plate during the three-game set, batting 7-for-10 with three home runs and nine RBI. She also scored five of Duke's 25 runs on the weekend.
