DURHAM, N.C. – The No. 15 Duke rowing team's Varsity Eight boat was named the ACC Crew of the Week after helping the Blue Devils win the Lake Wheeler Invitational in Raleigh, N.C.
The V8 squad of graduate student Tara Fagan (coxswain), junior Amelia Shunk (stroke), sophomore Lauren Sizemore, sophomore Morgan Linsley, junior Grace Butero, senior Ema Kuczura, junior Gabriella Salvati, junior Sydney Johnson and junior McKendree Densel (bow) opened the weekend by winning their first heat with a 2,000-meter time of 6:36.
