DURHAM – The Duke men's lacrosse team came in at No. 3 in the preseason United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association preseason poll and three Blue Devils were voted to the organization's preseason All-America squads as selected by Division I head coaches.
The Blue Devils are the consensus No. 3 squad in the trio of preseason polls heading into the 2022 campaign. Individually, Nakeie Montgomery garnered second-team preseason All-America honors, while Brennan O'Neill and Tyler Carpenter were voted to the third team.
Virginia sits atop the poll with 320 points, while Maryland is second with 303, including one first-place vote.
