It was a massive, unprecedented victory in the Nike Hoop Summit. The U.S. led by as much as 41, forced 29 turnovers and pressured the World Team into a nightmare performance.
The U.S. went up 16-0 and got a spectacular performance out of uncommitted Terrance Ferguson, who got a bit carried away afterwards, saying he had to ice down his shooting hand.
But why not?
At one point, Ferguson outscored the World team 18-2. All of his shots were from three point range.
Future star DeAndre Dayton struggled against the U.S. squad, scoring eight points on 3-9 from the floor, but don't let that fool you.
