One of the worst things about this Olympics is that the basketball stuff got shunted over to Peacock where you’re expected to pay for it.
Well a lot of people clearly just weren’t going to do it as Twitter, Reddit and other sources show, and whatever NBC expected to get out of it, they probably haven’t.
So it’s nice to see that the gold medal game is on NBC and NBCOlympics.com. There is a catch, naturally: you have to have a cable subscription. Presumably you can see NBC on satellite as well though given how things have been so far we wouldn’t promise you that.
