We’ve talked a lot about the raw athleticism of Duke freshman Deron Rippey. We got a good look at it against Tennessee, when Rippey shot 9-12, and also got 3 assists, 3 steals, 2 rebounds, all in 21 minutes.
But perhaps the most insane example of Rippey’s athleticism came against Army. We don’t remember who took the shot, but it doesn’t really matter. What matter is what Rippey did with it. On the one hand, he had the instinct and daring to go after the miss.
But on the other, he had the talent to go up and get it, and throw one down that amazed everyone.
