As we suggested in our game story about Duke’s win over the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, it was a very physical game, and, in an unexpected development, Caleb Foster got ejected after drawing his second technical foul.
There was a certain amount of woofing in this game, including this play.
After blocking a drive by Foster, Coastal Carolina’s Tristan Thompson started talking smack. In response, Foster pointed to the scoreboard, which showed Duke up by 53. Then he got the inbounds by the Duke bench and nailed a three to push the lead to 56.
Foster was right.
