DURHAM, N.C. – For the fourth straight year, Duke University senior Leona Maguire has earned Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) First Team accolades, while sophomore Ana Belac and freshman Jaravee Boonchant were selected WGCA Honorable Mention All-America following the completion of the 2017-18 campaign.
Maguire joins only Liz Janangelo, Lindy Duncan and Virada Nirapathpongporn as Duke’s four-time First Team All-America selections.
A native of Cavan, Ireland, Maguire registered three victories on the season, while notching nine top 10 finishes out of 11 tournaments. She collected a team-best 10 rounds in the 60s, which tied for the second-most in Duke single-season history.
