DURHAM – Duke wide receiver Jake Bobo, safety Michael Carter II and offensive guard Rakavius Chambers were all named to the 2020-21 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District III First Team.
To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must be a starter or key reserve, achieve sophomore standing at their current school, maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.3 and be nominated by his sports information director.
Duke, which has had 28 CoSIDA Academic All-District nods in the last nine seasons, joined Georgia Tech (one), Notre Dame (two), Pittsburgh (one), and Syracuse (three) as the only ACC programs with a first team selection this season.
