DURHAM – Three Blue Devils earned Preseason All-America status from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association on Tuesday, as junior right-handed pitcher Fran Oschell III (1st), sophomore left-handed pitcher James Tallon (1st) and sophomore left-handed pitcher Andrew Healy (3rd) all landed on teams.
Oschell III, a 6-foot-7 right-handed pitcher, was a member of the 2023 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team and was named an All-American by Perfect Game (2nd team), Baseball America (3rd team) and D1Baseball (3rd team).
