RICHMOND, Va. – The Duke fencing team concluded its spring slate at the April North American Cup (NAC), hosted by the United States Fencing Association in Richmond, Va. The weekend was highlighted by former Blue Devil and current volunteer assistant coach Leslie Marx’s gold medal in the Vet-50 Women’s Epee competition.
Marx, who claimed the title of World Champion in October as she captured gold at the 2017 Veteran World Championships, added another gold medal to her collection. Marx produced a perfect 6-0 ledger in pool play to earn a bye in the table of 64.
