- 2000 – Men's Basketball – Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski won his 500th game at Duke as the second-ranked Blue Devils beat Villanova 98-85 in the Preseason NIT at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Following the game, Duke's court was named after Krzyzewski. Coach K Court at Cameron Indoor Stadium was unveiled in a ceremony to honor the Blue Devils' Hall of Fame coach.

- 2012 – Women's Cross Country – Sophomore Kelsey Lakowske and senior Juliet Bottorff both earned All-America honors by posting top-40 finishes at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Louisville, Ky.
