- 2005 – Men's Golf – Former men's golf coach, the late Rod Myers, was named the National Coach of the Year by Golfweek. Myers led the Blue Devils to the 2005 ACC title -- the program's first since 1966 – and to an eighth place finish at the NCAA Championship -- the program's best since finishing third in 1962.
- 2014 – Men's Golf – Former Duke men's golfer Kevin Streelman birdied his final seven holes to win the Travelers Championship with a 15-under score of 265.
