Lately it seems to be happening to John Calipari.
The Kentucky coach who set a new bar for recruiting, has hit a dry spell. This year, uncharacteristically, he brought in a grad student transfer, Reid Travis from Stanford.
It snuck up on us but his last top five recruit was Skal Labissiere, who wasn’t exactly a huge success.
