Duke Volleyball wants to take this opportunity to thank Jacki Silar for her continual leadership over the years.
I arrived at Duke in 1999 and her guidance and mentorship has been huge for our volleyball student-athletes and myself as well. Jacki was a collegiate athlete, coach and most recently an administrator. She has worn many hats. We fortunately have been the recipients of her wealth of experience.
There are many fond memories of my time spent with Jacki, but the 2000 NCAA Tournament was a special one when Duke was back in the tournament since 1994.
