DURHAM – After nearly five decades of exemplary service as a world-class leader, Duke University, Duke Athletics and his collegiate athletics family wants to say thank you, Dr. White, for his constant commitment to our coaches, student-athletes and Duke.
During his time in the intercollegiate scene, he has mentored nearly 30 professionals who have gone on to become Athletic Directors and prominent leaders around the country.
White is one of the most experienced, distinguished and honored athletic directors in college sports and oversees a program that includes 27 varsity sports, more than 700 student-athletes, more than 300 coaches and staff, and a physical education and recreation program that touches nearly every Duke student.
