DURHAM, N.C. – Duke baseball right-handed pitcher Cooper Stinson was named Third Team All-America by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the organization announced Wednesday.
Stinson joins teammate Michael Rothenberg as Duke's preseason All-American nods. Rothenberg received third team honors from D1Baseball earlier in the preseason.
A native of Peachtree Corners, Ga., Stinson served as the team's Saturday starter a season ago. He sported a 3-0 record in the shortened 2020 season while carrying a 0.42 ERA to lead the ACC and rank 15th nationally.
