DURHAM, N.C. – After being honored during Sunday's Senior Day ceremonies, Blue Devils Sammi Steele and Jillian Wolgemuth have been selected to compete in the 2019 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game Friday, Nov. 22 in Winston-Salem, N.C. The contest will be held at Wake Forest's Kentner Stadium, the site of the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship.
Steele has solidified her place among the top goalkeepers in program history during her redshirt senior season. The Eagleville, Pa., native has been instrumental to the Blue Devils' defensive success with 23 career shutouts to her name and a career goals against average below 1.
