CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Members of the Duke women's tennis team kicked off the first day at the 16th-annual Kitty Harrison Invitational Friday in Chapel Hill, N.C.
As a team, the Blue Devils swept all four doubles matches and went 2-2 in singles.
Margaryta Bilokin/Ema Lazic defeated Hunter Bleser/Camille Favero of Virginia 8-2 before going on to outlast Mackenzie Clark/Lahari Yelamanchili of Tulane 8-7 (1). For Summer Dvorak/Hannah Zhao, the duo got off to an 8-4 win over Virginia's Vivian Glozman/Chloe Gullickson before an 8-6 victory over Lauren Gish/Adelaide Lavery of Tulane.
