DURHAM, N.C. – Following the shortened 2020 season due to COVID-19, Duke softball voted on team awards that would've been announced at the end of year banquet.
The Blue Devils put together its best season yet, compiling a 23-4 record while finishing No. 25 in the final ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll. After receiving votes in both major polls for weeks, this was the first time Duke cracked into the top 25 in program history.

The True Blue Award is given to the player that best models Duke softball's core values, both on and off the field.
