So Who’s Going To Replace McCallie At Duke?

The Duke Chronicle takes a look at some of the options to replace Joanne P. McCallie as Duke’s head coach for women’s basketball and lists some potential hires we’ve seen and some we haven't heard mentioned or thought about. The list is broken down into three categories: favorites, contenders and long shots.

Among the favorites: Jennie Baranczyk (Drake), Mark Campbell (Oregon), Tina Langley (Rice), Kelly Bond-White (Texas A&M), Joy Smith (Clemson) and Lindsey Harding (Sacramento Kings).

Among the contenders: Katie Meyers (Miami), Kevin McGuff (Ohio State), Alana Beard, former WNBA star and Duke legend.

Among the long shots: Ryan McCarthy (Alaska-Anchorage), Vanessa Blair-Lewis (Bethune-Cookman), and former Duke assistant Al Brown.
