Dan Collins was a terrific reporter for the Winston-Salem Journal who unfortunately spent the end of his career there chronicling the decline of Wake Forest’s program.
He’s retired now but still blogging and while you could sense his frustration pre-retirement, he’s not holding back now. In this post, he lets it rip. He rips former AD Ron Wellman, the president of the university, several influential people around the program including big booster Mit Shah, and while he temporarily spares new AD John Currie, he makes it clear that he sees him as a potential piñata and that he’s willing to swing the bat if necessary.
