EL PASO, Texas – By way of their All-American status from a season ago, Duke University men’s golfers Alex Smalley and Chandler Eaton will compete in the 2018 Sun Bowl Marathon All-America Golf Classic Monday and Tuesday at the El Paso Country Club.
The event kicked off Sunday with a Long Drive competition and a PING Putting Challenge. Smalley tied for seventh in the long drive (316 yards), while Eaton was tied for 18th (305 yards). It was Eaton and Smalley each finishing T-3rd in the putting contest, completing the course in 23 strokes.
