Six Current and Former Duke Women’s Lacrosse Players Invited to Train for U.S. National Team

Three members of the Duke Women’s Lacrosse team will join three Duke alums at the U.S. Women’s National Team tryouts this weekend to compete in the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Women’s World Cup in Guildford, England for 2017.

The current Duke players invited to train for the national team include rising senior attacker Maddy Acton, rising sophmore midfielder Maddie Crutchfield,and rising senior and All-ACC goalkeeper Kelsey Duryea. The Blue Devils advanced to the NCAA National Semifinals this season for the 7th time in school history, but lost in their match-up against #2 UNC.
