Siebers Leads the Way Saturday in Georgia

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Sophomore Ian Siebers fired a 3-under 69 on Saturday, leading the way for the Duke men's golf team as action continued at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Championship in Alpharetta, Ga.

Siebers was 3-under for the day, is 5-under through 36 holes and sits in a tie for eighth place with the final round to come on Sunday. As a team, Duke was 3-over Saturday and is 5-under for the tournament to sit in ninth place.

Opening his round on the 10th hole Saturday, Siebers began the day with a birdie on the par-4 446-yard hole, and then birdied three of the final five on the front to turn in 2-under 34.
