EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. – Led by a top-10 finish from sophomore Ian Siebers, the Duke men's golf team picked up a fifth-place finish at the Hamptons Intercollegiate, which concluded Tuesday at the Maidstone Club on Long Island.
Siebers bounced back from an opening 78 in adverse weather to shoot back-to-back rounds of 2-under 70 to finish in a tie for 10th at 2-over 218.
As a team, the Blue Devils carded a 2-under 286 in Tuesday's final round and finished the 54-hole event at 8-over 872, which was fifth in the 12-team field.
