DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University women's golf freshman Erica Shepherd will travel to her home state of Indiana this week to compete in the LPGA Indy Women in Tech Championship on a sponsor exemption at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Club in Indianapolis, Ind.
The tournament will take place from Sept. 26-29 and includes three other Blue Devil golfers – Brittany Lang, Lindy Duncan and Yu Liu.
"I think that being gone for a month now has made me realize how much I miss home and how much I love it," commented Shepherd. "I've never been so excited to be heading home and just to see everyone there.
