DURHAM – For the second straight season, Duke women's golf standout Erica Shepherd has been honored by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) as the junior was tabbed Honorable Mention All-America on Thursday afternoon by the organization.
A native of Greenwood, S.C., Shepherd turned in a solid third season with the Blue Devils as she compiled a team-best 72.24 stroke average to go along with four top-five and five top-20 finishes on the year. She closed the season with five straight rounds of even or under par, while notching a total of 12 on the year.
