Shepherd Remains Tied for First at Indiana State Amateur

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the second straight day, Duke University rising sophomore Erica Shepherd carded a two-under-par, 70, and remains in a tie for first along with two other golfers at the Old Oakland Golf Club in Indianapolis, Ind.

With 18 holes remaining, Shepherd is tied with Cailyn Henderson and Julia Potter-Bobb with a four-under-par, 140. The trio are the only golfers under par through 36 holes.

Shepherd, who hails from Greenwood, Ind., once again took advantage of the par fives during her round birding three of the four and committing only one bogey in her round as she hit 15 greens, 10 fairways and rolled 32 putts.
