DURHAM – On Friday morning, the latest ANNIKA Award Watch list presented by Stifel was released live on the Golf Channel and Golfweek with Duke sophomore Erica Shepherd one of 15 selections being considered for National Player of the Year accolades.
A product of Greenwood, Ind., Shepherd has opened the 2021 campaign on fire by turning in her first collegiate victory at the Gamecock Intercollegiate and a third-place ledger at the Palmetto Intercollegiate. With the victory in the last tournament, Shepherd jumped to No. 2 in the latest Golfweek individual rankings. She has totaled a 71.
