INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the third straight year, Duke University freshman Erica Shepherd will advance to weekend action as an amateur at the LPGA Indy Women in Tech Championship, which is being played at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Club in Indianapolis, Ind.
Shepherd, who hails from Greenwood, Ind., carded rounds of 70 and 74 for an even-par, 144, which was tied for 57th. She will be the only amateur playing the weekend.
In round one, she turned in six birdies and a two-under-par, 70, as she hit 10 fairways, 13 greens and rolled 29 putts.
