DURHAM, N.C. - Behind a trio of goals, including Imani Dorsey's eighth goal of the season, the fourth-ranked Duke Blue Devils (9-1-0, 2-0-0 ACC) defeated the No. 18 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (5-3-2, 1-1-0 ACC) for a program record ninth-straight win Thursday night in South Bend, Ind.
The win broke the program's previous school record of eight-straight wins, accomplished in 2000. Duke is now 2-0 in ACC play, the first time reaching that mark since 2014.
After a scoreless first half, the breakthrough came on a misplay from the Notre Dame defender off a Dorsey cross that led to an own goal, putting Duke up 1-0.
