DURHAM – Senior outfielder RJ Schreck was tabbed to the 2022 Collegiate Baseball Pre-Season All-America Third Team, the publication announced on Tuesday.
Schreck concluded the 2021 season slashing .337/.435/.635 and was named to the 2021 ABCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team. The Los Angeles, Calif., native hit a team-leading 18 home runs to place tied for fourth all-time in a single season in program history. He led the team in RBIs (52), slugging percentage (.635), multi-hit games (20) and multi-RBI games (14). A third team All-ACC selection, he also ranked in the top-10 in the conference in multiple categories – home runs, RBIs, hits (70) and runs scored (49).
