TEMPE, Ariz. – Duke women's tennis senior Chalena Scholl added another accolade to her season, receiving the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Carolina Region Senior Most Improved Player award.
A second-team All-ACC selection as a senior, Scholl was elected by her teammates as the Charles Hamilton Hargrave Most Valuable Player for the 2016-17 campaign. It was the second-straight season Scholl has received the award.
Scholl has turned in a strong senior campaign while playing primarily at the No. 3 position in singles. She heads into NCAA Team Championship Round of 16 play with a 30-6 mark in singles, going 20-2 in dual matches and 18-1 at the No.
