DURHAM, N.C. – Duke head coach Dan Colella and the women’s swimming and diving program are excited to announce the addition of Quinn Scannell to the Blue Devil roster for the upcoming campaign. A backstroke and freestyle specialist, Scannell comes to Durham as a transfer student from the University of Pennsylvania.
As a freshman at Penn last season, Scannell claimed the Ivy League title in the 200-yard backstroke. She set Penn and Ivy League Championships records in that event with a mark of 1:54.64 and also took second in the 100 backstroke at her first conference meet.
