DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke rowing team will make its final push qualify for the NCAA Championship Friday and Saturday at the ACC Championship on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. This is the 17th annual league championship event, and the second featuring nine squads.
The Blue Devils will hold the No. 3 seed for the 2V8 and V4, No. 5 seed for the V8 and No. 7 seed for the 3V8.
Virginia is the heavy favorite to repeat as champion after being seeded first in all five events. The Cavaliers, ranked fifth nationally this week, have won six straight titles and 15 of the first 16 ACC Rowing Championships.
