To a lot of people it probably seemed like Roshown McLeod leads a charmed life. He played high school ball for Bob Hurley at the legendary St. Anthony’s then got a scholarship to St. John’s. He transferred to Duke and was drafted in the first round by the Atlanta Hawks.
As we’ve pointed out before though, fans see players on the court for a couple of hours and think we know them. We knew nothing about the dark places Bob Hurley’s son Bobby and Jason Williams went after their accidents. We certainly didn’t know how deeply being the villain affected JJ Redick, who almost quit the game.
