Rodney Hood undergoes surgery after achilles tear on December 6

On Wednesday afternoon, former Duke Blue Devil Rodney Hood underwent surgery for a ruptured left achilles he suffered in the first quarter in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on December 6.

Hood was only able to play nine minutes in the game and missed the only shot he attempted, but did grab two rebounds, did out an assist, and recorded a steal.

A first round draft pick of the Utah Jazz in the 2014 NBA Draft, Rodney Hood was entering his first full season with the Portland Trail Blazers after coming off to Portland from the Cleveland Cavaliers last season.
