DURHAM – Duke sophomore Pedro Rodenas received the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Carolina Region Player to Watch Award, the organization announced.
Every year the ITA recognizes coaches and players for their excellence on the court and in their communities throughout the season. This is the second career ITA honor for Rodenas as the Madrid, Spain, native was tabbed the 2023 ITA Rookie of the Year a season ago.
Rodenas received postseason All-ACC second team praise for the second-straight year and led the team with 26 overall singles wins, including a team-leading 18 dual wins.
