DURHAM, N.C. – Over the course of the next few weeks, Duke softball is checking in with its six incoming freshmen who had their high school senior seasons cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The next recruit check-in is with Julia Boyet – a utility player from St. Louis, Mo.
How has it been adjusting to school online?
Julia: "Online school has been very different, but my teachers have been doing a really good at helping us adjust and keeping the year going as planned. I think the hardest thing is not seeing my friends every day and missing out on the traditions that we've been looking forward to since freshman year.
