DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke quarterback Tommy Prothro has been named to the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame Class of 2016, announced today by the Tournament of Roses.
Prothro is joined in the class by Bobby Bell, Ricky Ervins and Art Spander. The Rose Bowl Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on January 1, 2017, outside of the Rose Bowl Stadium, one day before the kickoff of the 103rd Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual. This year’s game will feature the top available teams from the Big Ten and Pac-12 conferences and will take place on January 2.
