Preston Greene Named Director of Sports Performance with Duke Men’s Basketball

With the retirement of William Stephenson (Coach Will) after 27 years at Duke as Executive Director of Sports Performance/Head Sports Performance Coach for Men’s Basketball, Jon Scheyer and Duke have made a significant hire as his replacement. Preston Greene has been announced as the Director of Sports Performance for the Duke men’s basketball program.

A nationally respected leader in the field with more than 30 years of experience, Greene joins the Blue Devils following a decorated strength and conditioning career with impactful stops at Clemson, Miami (Fla.), Florida, Stanford, Charlotte and Arizona.

“Preston is a transformational addition to our program,” said Duke men’s basketball head coach Jon Scheyer.
