DURHAM – It was a busy weekend in the professional lacrosse ranks for a host of former Blue Devils as the Premier Lacrosse League announced its award winners, the playoffs continued with the semifinal games and the National Lacrosse League held its annual draft.
Blue Devils Looking to Take Home PLL Title
Duke men's lacrosse standouts CJ Costabile, Patrick Resch and Michael Sowers each helped their respective PLL squads – Chaos and Waterdogs – advance to the PLL Championship game.
Costabile and Resch anchored the Chaos defense to the title game with a hard-fought 9-7 triumph over the Archers.
